Hi All

I am part of 'Friends and Faith' the Belfast group and am organising a trip to Krakow on the 4th May 2010.  I am going for one week but anyone can come along any time and join in the craic - the more the merrier.

The plans for the week include a visit of the town, Salt Mines, Schnidler's Factory, seeing 'The Divine Mercy' painting of Jesus and Auswitz.

Please contact me if you are interested.

Take care

Grainne

Here are the details Gráinne sent to me.  A number of us are going from Dublin and staying in the Novotel Bronowice. Gráinne can be contacted at grainne242000@yahoo.co.uk for further information.

Krakow

Tuesday
the 4th of May for 6/7 nights, organised by Gráinne in Belfast.

People
are free to travel for part of the week if that suits.

The
planned itinerary:

Tuesday 4th May: Arrive in Krakow - depending on flight time go to Castle / meet for
evening meal.

Wednesday 5th May: Visit Jewish Quarter
including Schnidler's Factory

Thursday 6th May: Visit museums etc in Krakow - free day

Friday 7th May:  Morning free. pm Tour of city including John
Paul II residence when Archbishop

Saturday 8th May: Salt Mines

Sunday 9th May: Mass at Cathedral which has
the famous picture of the Jesus Divine Mercy

Monday 10th May: Visit Auschwitz
I and II

Tuesday 11th May: Time to go home

Possible
Accommodation:

The Novotel Karkow Bronowice Hotel. 4 km
from the square.  7 nights for €301 euro
including breakfast. The hotel has a swimming pool etc.  Bookings can be made online at the www.novotel.com. Note that there are 2 Novotels in Krakow and it is the Bronowice, not the Central, that people are booking into.  It is about 4km from the city, but there is a shuttle bus to the city centre.

The Deco Hostel: Single en suite (£25pppn)
to dorm rooms (£8pppn).

Gettting
there and back:

Eveyone will need to organise their own travel.  As usual, people should co-ordinate with others in their area for travel and accommodation arrangements.

Hi Ursula

I iwll keep you informed.  I would appreciate if you could inform others in your group or anyone else in project2030.

Are you planning in coming to Belfast for our weekend?  It is taking place on the 19th March (Friday).  It will be our first weekend.  I can let you know the details and soon as they are confirmed.

 Keep in touch
